DAHLIA TUBER

Rocco

$10.00 / tuber

Rocco, hybridized by G. H. Lammerse of the Netherlands and introduced in 1962, is a classic pompon dahlia treasured for its rich boysenberry-purple blooms and exceptional garden performance. The perfectly formed flowers, measuring under two inches across, are packed with tightly arranged, inward-curving petals that create the flawless spherical shape prized by exhibitors and floral designers alike. Despite its small bloom size, Rocco makes a bold impact with its saturated color, long stems, and remarkable flower production. An outstanding cut flower, it produces an abundance of blooms throughout the season and blends beautifully with both pastel and jewel-toned arrangements. More than sixty years after its introduction, Rocco remains one of the most beloved purple pompon dahlias in cultivation thanks to its dependable performance, exhibition-quality form, and timeless beauty.
