DAHLIA TUBER
Sandia Bertha
$20.00 / tuber
Sandia Bertha, hybridized by Steve and Sandy Boley of Birch Bay Dahlias and introduced in 2023, is a sophisticated waterlily dahlia prized for its rich purple blooms and elegant flower form. The blossoms display deep magenta-purple faces accented by lighter reverse striping on the backs of the petals, creating remarkable depth and dimension. Gracefully layered petals form the classic waterlily silhouette, while long stems and prolific bloom production make this variety an excellent choice for cutting gardens and floral design work. Strong plants produce an abundance of flowers throughout the season, adding dramatic color and texture to both garden beds and bouquets. Refined, distinctive, and highly versatile, Sandia Bertha is a standout modern introduction from the renowned Boley breeding program.
